About

Regenerage is an independent charity based in Leyland, Lancashire, with over 40 years of experience supporting older people, particularly those living with dementia and memory concerns. Formerly known as Age Concern Central Lancashire, Regenerage offers a comprehensive range of services designed to help individuals live well and age well.

Community Engagement

Regenerage is a signatory of the South Ribble Dementia Charter, demonstrating its commitment to creating a dementia-friendly community. This involves ensuring staff become Dementia Friends, considering the needs of individuals with dementia in policies, and organising inclusive events.

Dementia-Friendly Services

Regenerage provides tailored support for individuals living with various forms of dementia, including early-onset dementia. Their services encompass:

Community Links: A free service offering home visits to provide information and advice on memory loss and dementia symptoms. The programme aims to reduce social isolation, promote independence, and connect individuals to local activities and support networks.

Activity Centres: Located in Bamber Bridge, Fulwood, and Lostock Hall, these centres offer therapeutic activities such as gentle exercise, crafts, and social groups, fostering engagement and well-being.

Regenerage operates several charity shops across Lancashire, including a notable location in Leyland:

Leyland Shop: Situated at 2–4 Towngate, Leyland, PR25 2FN, this shop offers a variety of pre-loved items, from clothing to homeware. The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
