Leyland Jobcentre Plus is a signatory of the South Ribble Dementia Charter, reflecting its dedication to creating a dementia-friendly community. By signing the charter, the centre pledges to:​

1. Ensure staff become Dementia Friends, enhancing their understanding and ability to support individuals living with dementia.​

2. Consider the needs of people living with dementia when developing new policies or strategies, promoting inclusivity in all aspects of their operations.​

3. Create a friendly and welcoming environment that accommodates individuals with dementia, facilitating a positive experience for all clients.​

4. Organise events that are inclusive and considerate of the needs of people living with dementia, enabling their full participation in community life. ​
